Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial statements.
• Establish and enforce proper accounting standards, policies, and principles.
• Managing and coordinating with auditors, tax authorities and other regulators.
• Review accounting records and tax declarations.
• Monitor controls.
• Monitor accounts receivables and payables.
• Provide recommendations for improving processes and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. ACCA or SCAAK certification preferred.
• Proven experience as a Chief Accountant or similar role.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Experience with general ledger functions and month-end/year-end close processes.
• Advanced MS Excel skills and experience with accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
